Settings and Account Management

Settings Page #

1. Access “Settings” from the side menu on the homepage.
2. Overview of Settings Options:

• Account Deactivation
• Change Password
• Change Username

Account Deactivation #

1. Click on the Deactive Account Button to deactivate the account
2. A confirmation prompt is displayed
3. Upon confirmation, the account is deactivated

Change Password #

1. Identify and fill in the field for the current password.
2. Fill in the field for the desired new password.
3. Fill in the field to confirm the new password matches the “New Password” field.
4. The new password is evaluated against established password strength requirements (e.g., minimum length, inclusion of different character types).
5. Upon successful validation and confirmation, their password will be updated.
6. A confirmation message is displayed to the user.

Change Username #

1. Identify and fill in the field for their desired new username.
2. A newly entered username can be verified to check its availability.
3. If the username is not available, suggestions of available usernames are shown.
4. The system will check if the new username is already taken.
5. Upon successful verification and updating of the username, the new username will be updated across all relevant parts on the platform.
